Terms of Service
Sauk Valley Geeks will only provide the services/repairs requested by the client.
Sauk Valley Geeks is here to provide high quality, truthful, and considerate services. We always strive to supply you with the best service possible, but certain results cannot be guaranteed.
In some instances repair may not be possible due to unforeseen circumstances. It may be necessary to replace hardware due to obsolete or damaged components, or, in rare instances, rebuild the computer entirely.
An exact completion date for services cannot always be determined. In the event that services will take longer than expected, Sauk Valley Geeks will immediately notify the client.
Billing
Repairs/Services are billed as stated on the repair invoice. Flat rate for standard services is $85; up to 3 hours from arriving on site and then $45 for each additional hour spent. In the event that Sauk Valley Geeks cannot provide the services requested by the client, a mandatory charge of $35 will be issued. If the client chooses to utilize Sauk Valley Geeks for rebuilding/replacing equipment, this mandatory charge will credited to the final repair.
An initial estimate will be given prior to performing requested services; this estimate is not guaranteed. If, for any reason, we cannot provide the services requested at the estimated cost, we will always notify the client before ANY other actions are taken.
Payment
Payment in full is due upon completion of services rendered; cash, check, or money order.
Computer hardware, peripherals, or software will be paid in advance, or at the time of repair, by the client. We are not salesmen for hardware/software companies.
Liability
In the event of unintentional damage to components, systems, or loss of data, you agree to hold Sauk Valley Geeks harmless from damage caused by any existing problems; may they be known or unknown. We at Sauk Valley Geeks are honest in nature and will immediately admit to any wrong doing and have the problem remedied, to the best of our abilities, as soon as possible.
Support
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We always strive to solve the problem(s), quickly and in a professional manner; but there can be technical difficulties.
Free support will be provided for services that were rendered, if the same problem returns within the warranted period (see below).
Repair/Service Warranty
Any repair/service provided by Sauk Valley Geeks is guaranteed for 7 days from the invoice completion date.
If it is found that Sauk Valley Geeks misdiagnosed a problem, Sauk Valley Geeks will perform the repair free of any labor charge. The client is responsible for purchasing any hardware/software necessary for the repair.
